Quran tv (Qtv) is television channel with a religious focus on Islamic Religion. It is part of the ARY Digital network.

Qtv is a channel dedicated to religious programs for Muslims as well as for non-Muslims around the globe especially the south Asian community. Based exclusively on Islamic principles, values and ideas, it is an excellent source of knowledge for each Muslim.

The Students visited the Editing department, Creative department And Compositing Department of ARY Qtv Channel, under the supervision of Mr. Aamir Khan(Senior Director). Students then visited the Compositing department of ARY Qtv where (Senior Compositors) Mr.Saqib and Mr.Atif were facilitating them. The basic technicalities of the Editing and compositing department were discussed and briefed to the students. Then they visited the Editing & Creative Department of ARY Qtv where Mr. Furqan Qidwai (Senior Manager Broadcast ARY Digital and Head of Graphics ARY Qtv), demonstrated live editing of various tv shows like “Subha Bakher” and ”Ap kay Masail ka hal” that are aired on ARY Qtv.

In the end,the Placement Head & Training Executive Mr.Salman Saeed presented a shield to Mr.Aamir Khan and a thanks letter to Mr.Furqan Qidwai for their special support and co-operation in arranging this visit to ARY Qtv.

Overall it was a very informative visit where the students learnt many technical things related to post production and broadcasting.
