Visit to ELITE PUBLISHERS | Arena Gulshan

Arena Multimedia Gulshan-e-Iqbal Branch students visited ELITE PUBLISHERS (Pvt.) Ltd. on Saturday, March 15, 2008 under the supervision of Mr Salman Saeed |Placement Executive.
First of all they took us to their designing room where all the designing jobs are done. They showed us how they work on different jobs of designing and printing, how pictures are being customized and how they give effects to the pictures. They gave us an introduction about the Drum Scanner and also gave a briefing about different software’s and how they work.

They showed us the color theme book with the help of which they create color percentages. Then they check the accuracy of the film channel and they forward those films to their PLATE DEPARTMENT where different Plates of different colors are produced with the help of film channel and a machine which produces an impact on the plate. They wash the plate and chemically it so that the colors become visible.

After the Lamination process the material is forwarded to the CUTTING DEPARTMENT where they cut the books or any printing material to the desired size for accuracy. After learning and watching all these processes they again took us to their Designing room where they offered us drinks in a very friendly atmosphere.

Students gathered valuable information about Designing, Printing & Printing Machines.
