Bagh-e-Quaid Students Artwork Display 2009 This year students of Arena Bagh-e-Quaid made history with the Students Artwork Display 2009 at the Arts Council of Karachi. This event was organized for all students of centre Bagh-e-Quaid for the last 5 years. At this platform students can share their work with all the guests and people related to the IT field. Event was sponsored by Inspedium Web Hosting, BSS Technologies and Durvesh’s Computer World. Media partners for the event where; ATV, Apna Karachi FM 107, Daily Mehshar and Pakistan Observer newspapers. Students work for this day all through the year to get on the nomination list and finally get selected for the best. Students who won the 1st position in various categories are as follows: Muhammad Ashraf Ali (1st Position in Graphic Designing), Shahroz Iqbal (1st Position in Non-Linear Editing), Muhammad Amin Hanif (1st Position in 2D Animation), Shahroz Iqbal (1st Position in Web Designing), Zeeshan Iqbal (1st Position in 3D Animation) and Salma Iqbal (Best Student of the Year 2009). Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Waqar Mehdi (Advisor of Chief Minister Sindh), he visited all the stalls placed by the students and showed great interest in their artwork. After the awards distribution Aatish Band along with the leading singing sensations of South Asia performed a fantastic live concert which students really enjoyed. To make this evening remarkable Arena Bagh-e-Quaid arranged a Bumper Draw in which all the guest participated. There were two draws 2nd prize of 4GB USB was won by Ayaz Ahmed Siddiqui and 1st prize of Nokia Mobile Phone was won by Muhammad Imran. Bagh-e-Quaid students also put a lot of effort to make this a real happening with their special support as volunteers for the whole event. At the end dinner was served. Centre Bagh-e-Quaid wish to thank all those who attended the Students Artwork Display 2009 as it was again a great opportunity to hear about the upcoming year as well as for all of us to meet you. |
