Workshop on 3d Animations at Arena Defence Lahore Branch:

Arena Lahore, Defense arranged a workshop on 3d Animation on November 7, 2009 conducted by Mr.Aamir Baig(Faculty member of Arena Multimedia).

He has vast experience of 13 years in this field and accomplished lots of projects at local and international level. He delivered several trainings at corporate level to Coca-Cola, Pakistan Army, Reckitt & Benckiser, Tetra Pack, Total Corporation, Askari Bank, UBL, State Life Corporation of Pakistan etc. After completing his Masters in Computer sciences he did Animation & Video production Certification from NCA, Lahore.

Ms. Uzma Farooq (Centre Academic Head) delivered the forewords and welcomed the students and professionals at workshop.

Mr. Aamir Baig not only demonstrated different aspects of animations, modeling and special effects but also discussed the future of animation, its importance and job placement at present in different sectors.

He demonstrated various methods and procedures to make animations and special effects using particles, lights, camera and materials.

He told the participants how to make realistic ocean water, sun, water fountain, fire flames, smoke and storm effects. Interior animation also grabbed the attention of participants.
Aamir Baig's friendly and witty behavior did not let the students feel passing the time of 4 hours.

Every participant was answered to his/her question very professionally by Mr. Aamir Baig. Large number of students and professionals participated in this workshop especially from City42, Waqt News T.V. Channels and other production houses and gave excellent feedback regarding this memorable workshop.
