Visit to DAWN Printing Press by Arena Bahadurabad:

Arena Bahadurabad paid an educational visit to Dawn Newspaper Printing Press office on Aiwan-e-Sadar Road on Friday, the 12th of March 2010.

The trip was for the purpose of showing students the printing process and different machines used for paper printing.

Mr. Ramzan enthusiastically welcomed the Bahadurabad team, led by Mr. Z.H.Farooqi(Centre Manager, and helped simplify the process of printing and publishing.

From scanning upto paper printing and managing distribution, the students were briefed with the processes, and participated actively in clearing many questions and puzzles.

Mr. Ramzan and other staff members were impressed by the students, and the students were in turn satisfied with the visit. Giving an opportunity to learn, the trip was a successful one.

Apart from giving brief description of equipments used there, some softwares were also shown to the students, clearing their minds of any text related issues.

The staff had arranged for refreshments and gave out complimentary issues of the Spider magazine, their special magazine related to Information Technology.
