Arena Multimedia Lahore Center organized one day trip for Kartarpur Corridor on 1st march 2020.
Kartarpur inaugurated by our Prime Minister Imran Khan, on 9th November 2019. The ceremony of inauguration was held in Gurdwara Durbar Sahib Complex, Kartarpur and around 12000 pilgrims were present on this ceremony.
Kartarpur Corridor for Sikhs across the world is one of the holiest shrines. It is the same place where Sikh religious leader Guru Nanak Kartarpur Sahib spent 18 years of life leading up to his death. It is the place where Guru Nanak after a long pilgrimage of almost three decades finally decided to settle.
We all gathered at sharp 9: AM and after having breakfast started journey at sharp 10 AM. Students had fun and enjoyment during the journey and after a drive of 3 hours we reached our destination at 1 PM (Kartarpur Corridor). The Gurdwara located near 4km from India border.. Kartarpur corridor is the line up between India and Pakistan Border that’s why its name is with having word of ‘Corridor’.

People were crowded over there .We collected our tickets from tickets booth after security checking and process, checker gave us a holding card with the having name(YATREE) and code which was issues on our national identification card number. (CNIC)
Restriction and rules board display in the parking in which rules mention below

• Having wale (chader or scarf) for female and cap for male compulsory for tribute of sacred place.
• Cannot bring the eatable thing in the shrine.
• Cannot bring any type of weapon with you.
• Cannot take any bag of extra useless thing.
• Cannot do any reprehensible activity which will make the cause of dishonor regards that sacred place.

We entered the Yard of Gurdwara (Darshan Durhi) consist on 42 acers (17 hectares). We saw firstly the main entrance there was a launch in which the authority placed many models of Dershan Durhi of different section. Purpose of placing the models of building to help out to new visitor to approach required place where they want to go easily. The building of model has many section like Langer Khana, Deewan Asthan (Mehman Khana, Nishan sahib (India border) and tomb is situated in the center of the yard (sacred place where the GURU NANAK DEV JI MEHRAJ ‘S cloths and flower cremated) and the market where from the visitor buy the eatable thing like entices thing jewelry, hand bags, a small models of shrine etc. .
We visit the entire temple in three hours and capturing pic outside the boundary of the shrine. The closing time of the temple was 7 pm. We come out at 6:30 and having dinner with Biryani and Cold drinks. After that started journey again back to home. We reached Lahore at 10 pm. It was really awesome tour and gain lot of knowledge from that visit. The entire student very pleased to see that place.
